UK fans of Post Malone will finally be able to get their hands on his Maison No. 9 rose wine with a limited release ahead of Christmas. The wine, which launched in the USA earlier in the year, will be launched nationwide in 2021 but fans will be able to get the first bottles available outside the USA before Christmas, with a limited amount on sale from December 17. Post, 25, shared smouldering images of him in a sharp suit tasting a glass of his tipple when he announced the project earlier this year, with the initial US launch breaking records for sales. He said: ‘Rosé is for when you want to get a little fancy. It’s a nice switch up and I have been thinking about doing my own wine for a while.
‘It was great to work with Global Brand Equities because they saw the vision and we got to do some super cool stuff. Maison No. 9 goes down smooth, and you’re all going to love it!’ The nine-time Grammy nominee made the French rose with his pals James Morrissey and Dre London after flying to a vineyard in Provence just days after deciding to start the business in LA, and stars including Kylie Jenner and Justin Bieber are already big fans of it.
While many wouldn’t expect rose to be Postie’s drink of choice, he has turned out to be quite the wine connoisseur, sampling over 50 blends of rose before the settled on the perfect one, with the name deriving from his favourite tarot card, the Nine of Swords which symbolises overcoming challenges. If you’re planning to get your hands on a bottle this side of Christmas, however, it looks like it’ll be a case of fastest finger first as the US launch sold out all of the 50,000 bottles reserved for its presale in May in 48 hours and crashed the website. As if he wasn’t busy enough, wine’s not Post’s only business venture, and the Beerbongs & Bentleys star also has his own line of Crocs shoes.
