Conor McGregor lives his life as a champion, inside the octagon as a superstar in the UFC, and outside of it with his signature Irish whiskey brand, Proper No. Twelve.
Proper No. Twelve is made in Ireland’s oldest distillery. It combines the sweet Irish grain with single malt Irish whiskey, resulting in a smooth experience for the palate. Some of the cocktails that can be concocted with Proper No. Twelve, fittingly called Proper Drinks, are laid out in the brand’s website. These include the Notorious, the Dublin 12 Old Fashioned, the Octagon, and the Proper Julep.
Additionally, McGregor arranged it so that $5 of every Proper No. Twelve case will go to first responder organizations all around the world for up to $1 million per year. “With each bottle and each case we sell in each district and area all over the world, we are going to give back to the first responders,” he says.
The brand recently announced that Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, headquartered in New York, will receive a $1 million donation. The funds will be used to pay off the mortgages of families of law enforcement officers and firefighters that died in the line of duty and had young children. “I am so grateful to the hardworking team at Proper No. Twelve, our distributors, retailers and pub owners along with the millions of whiskey fans that have embraced the brand generating record sales,” continues McGregor. “These sales enable us to make our first significant donation to such deserving families. First responders around the world are the true-life heroes. They are the ones running into emergency situations. This has been a dream of ours since we started the business. We are so proud to partner with the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to honor these proper heroes. The foundation’s goal is to ensure stability and security for these families facing sudden tragic loss. I hope to inspire my fans and all Proper Twelve drinkers to join me and support this worthwhile cause.”
